We are moving back to CALI!! Tom and I have enjoyed this adventure out here in Colorado but we have come to the realization that we would rather be around friends and family over owning a house. I think that since we are going to have a baby this year we have also realized that we are going to need a lot of support thru out this time. We have learned a lot about ourselves being out here and our relationship has TOTALLY gotten stronger being out here. It wasn't a failure for us to come out here but it was a way for us to realize that we need our family and friends more than we even knew!!
Thank you all for your support since we have been out here. I have never been so lonely and I know that I have been abusing my friends by calling them ALL THE TIME!!! I am excited to get back to all the fun adventures...but it will all have to be sans alcohol for me!!

Hermie has a HEARTBEAT!!!
YEA!! We just got back from the doctors office and they said everything looks great! They found the heartbeat so quick. Of course, I started to cry just because we went 2 weeks ago and they couldn't find it. Turns out it was too early (which I kinda knew that we wouldn't hear it) because I was only just 11 weeks. So now we are 13 weeks and it was a wonderful moment.
I don't have any belly pictures because I am still in my own clothes. I haven't gained any weight and have actually lost some because of my morning sickness. Once I start to show, I will FOR SURE post them.
Thank you to all my friends who kept me positive when all my mind could think were negative thoughts. Now we just have to wait 2 months to find out what we are having....I asked if we could do an ultrasound at week 16 just to see if we could see what we are having but she shot me down!! Meanie!!
Oh, and the name Hermie come courtesy of my friend Jeannie. I was emailing my 3 girlfriends and just saying that I was prego and that we want a healthy baby but would like a boy because I was SUCH a terror (some of you didn't know me as a child but from what I can remember and stories that were told, I was a BRAT) and I would like to be eased into motherhood. Junie then asked God to grant me with a hermaphrodite so I could have the best of both worlds. Then Jeannie came back with...we can call it Hermie for now. I told my mom the story and she asked if she had to call the baby that and I said no. She said good and that she will call it Baby Mac. I love my girlfriends!! Thanks for all the laughs!
